From Jenny...Overcoming those Curtain Rod Problems

Overcoming those Curtain Rod ProblemsGold Curtains

We all know that hanging curtain rods can be fraught with problems, particularly with heavier rods and curtains. To avoid drooping in the middle and sagging rods, you invariably need more than the two brackets, which come with the rods, especially where the rod is more than 4 feet long and/or the curtains are heavy.

I recommend using support brackets placed in the middle of the window, or if you're faced with a particularly large window or heavy rods and curtains, use support brackets in two places between the end brackets, therefore avoiding sagging, unsupported rods and the possibility of pulling the end brackets out of the wall!
