Unsurprisingly, with its environmental connotations, green is tipped as one of the hot colour trends for 2010, ranging from earthy greens to zesty limes and dark forest greens. Indeed, using greens, beiges and warm greys as a neutral base, these can be teamed with berry colours, bright blues and violets, along with brilliant yellows and oranges to give a individual look.

As an alternative to the eco theme, 'Hollywood Glam' combines opulent style with bold colours. Think of black, white and yellow colour schemes as epitomising the Hollywood Glamour trend, also classic furniture mixed with styles, full of theatre and romance!

Textiles will emulate natural materials such as felt, cork and even tree bark. Overlaying pattern on pattern, deliberately mismatching products to produce very individual effects and seeing more fabrics offering durability with style in curtains and upholstery weight materials are all key trends!
Also look out for large graphic prints and floral patterns this year on all textiles from wallcoverings to rugs!
These are just a selection of the new hot trends emerging in 2010. Hopefully, they will inspire you to have fun creating individual, exciting new looks for any room, regardless of size or budget!
