About Sash Curtain Makers
Founded in 1984, Managing Director, Jenny Oates started out on a market stall in Wakefield, selling fabrics, haberdashery and accessories. Due to the increasing demand for bespoke curtains and soft furnishings, Jenny then opened a shop in Brighouse in 1997.
After trading successfully for four years and having built up many contacts in the trade, Jenny felt that the future of the business lay in making quality bespoke curtains, selling direct to leading UK fabric manufacturers, distributors, interior designers and retailers. So, this led to a move into a large curtain workroom in Wakefield, which has proven to be a great success.
